That's exactly the solution I was going to reply, hehe. In some cases, you can ask the translator for a different word that would keep the meaning.

About the font, Wild Words was the first one I used and it worked pretty well. However, if you feel you're needing to shrink the texts too much, you may need to change to Comicrazy.

Speaking of which, I just did a went through on the Chinese raw, it turns out that there's no bold/black in the original Chinese texts like English does. I'm afraid you'll have you figure out where to bold things in English yourself, sorry.

Don't worry, I'll just make use of /a/non's guide.

awesome, I'm almost done with page 22- 26. I kinda went to bed first since it was late and I was tired. I just needed to do the sfx and check if I missed something.

Do we know what numbers these chapters have?

According to Kurokawa releases, the first chapter is number 39. Then we have the Meloetta chapters (40 and 41), Black catching Musha and Brav (42 and 43) and then the other Chinese chapter left is 44 (Black vs. Brycen pt. 1).

Nice so it's chapter 44 I am working on atm.

Ok, what naming format are we going to use? I like Pokemon_Special_BW_cYY_pZZ for magazine chapters and Pokemon_Special_vXX_cYYY_pZZZ for volume releases.

XX = volume number
YY(Y) = chapter number
ZZ(Z) = page number

Max, I am missing translation for the last 2 text balloons of page 30.
Also panel 3 or 4 from page 32 are missing translation.

Are all scans that we are scanlating from the same group? I saw that we are also scanlating some pages that sisselxsoleil left out, but since Max is TLing those I'm guessing that those are Chinese scans as well and that I won't have to make another credit image for it.

I thought all scans were from the same group.

Actually, sisselxsoleil didn't miss those pages, it's just that Kurokawa split chapter 39. In my opinion, we can add those pages as the beginning of chapter 44, but we need to confirm if that's the case with a French reader that owns the latest volume.

As I see it we have three options then:


1. Ask the people on jb2448.info, tumblr and MangaFox's Pokemon Special FC.

2. Ask sisselxsoleil:
tumblr account | Not so active Serebii Forums account

3. Ask Yugnat:
YouTube account (unconfirmed if it is the same Yugnat, but this user has commented on some PokeSpeAnime videos)
The Backloggery account (unconfirmed if it is the same Yugnat, but this user owns some Pokémon games)

Dreamingflower, use Google Drive in combination with the QCers e-mail addresses to distribute the chapters in private when they are done. We don't want anyone to upload it to manga reading sites without it having been QCed and without the credits and the recruitment note.

Okay, I just need to do pages and the sfx, also I need to check the chinese raws again to see if some speech bubbles are left blank for a reason.
