We should just use PNG all the time and keep it simple. We ignore those that have been edited in JPG this time. Just make the final format PNG.

I have now checked the image quality of the Meloetta chapter. Because of a certain image format *cough JPG cough* everything is very blurry, so I let some things be as there were, because they would have taken too long to fix and weren't noticable.
This chapter has still been checked in ultra-picky mode.
If Duke R, or someone else would fix this, that would be appreciated:

What's the current status of the Chinese chapters? Is the QCing done? Has the font problems been solved? Has somebody fixed the things I mentioned in the post above?
We should probably put a note into every release we make (maybe at the bottom of the credit image?) that says something like:
This is a free scanlation and not intended for commercial exploitation. If you have paid for this scanlation you have been ripped off and should demand your money back. Please support the creators of this manga by buying the volumes / magazines when they are available in your area.

A lot of other scanlation groups do that, so I don't see the point why we shouldn't.

You could try sending a visitor message to his Serebii Forums profile saying that he should check his PMs. That's better than reposting the PM as a visitor message, since Serebii Forums doesn't allow fun (aka scans and scanlations) and are known to enforce that rule harshly.

Unfortunately I don't have the e-mail, but a google search gives us some profiles, mainly on Digimon forums (Shinka means Digivolution in Japanese, I suppose).

What needs to be done with the first two magazine chapter scanlations before they can be released? Translation checking and some more cleaning, anything else? Is the font size ok, so that the test doesn't break the speech bubbles, etc.?

Guys, I think I'll have to push back the time I translate the second Meloetta chapter to maybe next week or two due to that I'm moving and need to study for FAA tests for my aircraft mechanic licenses. After I completed the translation, I'll officially be on standby and will be able to translate any incoming Chinese chapters anytime.

Since nobody seems to want to clean up the Chinese magazine chapters properly, I suppose I will have to try doing it myself. I will be gone from tomorrow until Sunday, so it will take a while before I can start.

Hello everyone.
I apologize for my lack of reply earlier. I check Serebii.net, but am usually too lazy to sign on my account. Good thing you guys found my GameFAQs account, haha. I replied to Manga Reader X about 40 minutes ago. I'm usually good at replying to things if sent to the right places. D:
Anyway, like I told Manga Reader X earlier, I am Taiwanese American so I may have trouble with mainland Chinese grammar. Thankfully, I'm from the areas that have dense populations of Asians so it is extremely easy to get help if I need it. Not sure how helpful I was last time because I was honestly just using the raw translations to help myself improve fluency in my parents' native language... I do think I got the big picture when translating those previous scans though.
Let me know if you need help, and I can try to assist as much as possible.
