Re: Staff emblems
Here is beta 2 of the Kaiba banner:
It turns out that the GIF I used for this banner was originally saved in Index mode, which doesn't support layers. So, unless there is a way to convert it from Index mode to normal mode, this is as good as it gets.

I know. I wanted the 'Translator' text to be white and I wanted the JP characters to be another colour. The only colour I thought would fit was black. But, I have come up with the idea to try and add the flag of Japan and the flag of China to the Japanese and Chinese translator and translation checker emblems and then add the JP / Chinese characters on top of that.some wrote:I think the translators symbol is a litte bit too hard to see.

Re: Staff emblems
Here are new versions of the Japanese translator emblem, the Chinese translator emblem and the Japanese translation checker emblem.
Before anything is implemented I would like some feedback. Which version do you like better? The new version of these emblems or the old version of these emblems (which are viewable in this thread)? These new emblems at least makes it easier to see what language a translator is translating from.
I will make a Chinese translation checker emblem when MaxCheng95 has told me what the Chinese characters for translation checker is.
I will also make a French translator emlem and a French translation checker emblem when sisselxsoleil has told me what translation checker is in French and if I should make emblems for both traducteur and traductrice, or just for traducteur.

Re: Staff emblems
The word in translator emblems can move right in center between the right margin and the flags. That'll look much better that way.
Re: Staff emblems
I can't move the characters in the Japanese emblems any higher without them getting onto 'the red sun' and I decided that I would choose the same position for the Chinese emblens to make it consistent.
It doesn't matter anyway. I just realized that I had made the TLer and TLC emblems way more complicated than necessary. I will redo them with only the flag + the English text. It will look best that way.

Here are the new emblems:
I kinda like it the way they are (+ then I won't have to redo 11 emblems). I'll think about it. What does everyone else think?MaxCheng95 wrote:Not the characters in the flag, but the English word "Translator" next to them!!
