Terminologies

Hi all, this is about a problem that I came across while translating the BW chapters.
Whenever Black uses his Munna to eat his "dreams", an explanation is usually given.
When the original text reads "black" and "white", a/non translates them as "dark" and "blank".
Take C462 (pg125) for example, a/non's interpretation would be "'darkening' his 'blank' mind" rather than "'blackening' his 'white' mind".
I discussed this with razor789 and he says it's better to use a/non's translations, but we want to have everyone's opinions.
"Black/white" or "dark/blank"?

I'd go with "dark/blank" just because the sentence flows better that way. Using "black/white", even if that's what the original text says, to me it sounds like they're trying way too hard to implement the BW games/theme into it. Just a personal opinion.

"Dark/blank" sounds better. Maybe you could give this information as a translators note the first time it occurs? Just a suggestion, though.
