Report mistakes in our released scanlations here

Have you spotted a mistake in one of our released scanlations? Report it in this thread and we might fix it and release an updated version of that scanlation, if we think it's worth it.

I found a mistake on Chapter 457 page 5. The text for Ariana ends with ''Silver and''. I'm pretty sure there should be something after that.

I think you mean page 6. Hmm, I think we will do like /a/non did and release updated volume batches. That way we don't have to release that many separate repacks.

Chapter 458 page 38 second panel (Link): Missing text on the left side.

I was the typesetter for that chapter... I'll have to dig up the TL notes on it and see if I missed something or if it was just forgotten.

Also I'd read ch457 before uploading, and there are tons of mistakes in it. (that's why I'd first said I wish I'd been able to QC it first, lol) Dunno if I should list them all though.

Since we haven't uploaded chapter 458 to manga reading sites yet, we can fix mistakes in that chapter and reupload it. With chapter 457 and other future volume chapters that will have been uploaded to manga reading sited before we see mistakes I'd say that we include in updated volume batches. So, fix chapter 458 and start reuploading it.

Umm, this is a bit strange since I was TLCer for ch458, but on pg13, the text is totally wrong. Crys says
"But when this mission is completed.
I will listen to it."

That's not necessary, I just checked the psd file and the text layer was only invisible. Sorry about that :/ pretty sure it was my fault.

We should probably have at least two QCers / chapter from now on. One QCs a chapter first and when that QC is done and implemented the other one QCs the scanlation before release.

Grammar-related, mostly. I'd have to look over it and make a list of the mistakes I found, so I'll get to that as soon as possible.

I went off exactly what I saw on the script when I typeset it; if it was changed afterwards, I had no idea about it. Checking it now, there are tons of changes I never knew about. Is there some way we can be notified of TLC changes? Cause this is like the second or third time it's happened for this chapter alone. And do you want me to re-do all the typesetting changes?

I just copy and pasted the translation, so it's my fault for not looking at it more closely. Send me the fixes.

It's fine, I had a similar problem when typesetting ch458. Let's see...

-p006: In Arianna's profile, the sentence ends with, "Her well-trained Pokemon are attacking Silver and". It just ends on a fragment.
Also on p006, Giovanni's description, the second sentence reads, "He's an skilled trainer..." Should be "a skilled trainer".
-p009: First bubble should read, "Even though we've come here many times..."; last bubble in the last panel should read, "Eliminate any suspicious characters..."
-p016: First panel, second bubble should read, "In the crack in time... with these two eyes." The way it is right now doesn't make a lot of sense, but my suggestion is the best I could think of. If you know of any better way to word it, feel free to do so.
-p021: Third panel, first bubble should read, "In order for those three to not..."
-p022: First panel, second bubble should read, "If I word it differently, these ruins exist in a..."
Also the first bubble in the second panel doesn't have to start with "and" since it has the word "also" in it, which is pretty redundant.
-p025: In the description of plates in the box on the left side, it should read, "All 16 types of plates has been recorded with descriptions related to Arceus."
In the description for Sinjoh Ruins, it reads, "It's the ruins where the 'mystri stage' for 'Arceus's creation' is located." Wouldn't that be "mystery", or am I missing something?

I believe those are all the ones I notised.

Changed everything but the Mystri Stage because I'm not sure about that one. It's been reuploaded.

Sadly, yes. Usually I would suggest that we would release an updated volume batch with all corrections for volume 43 chapters, but since there is actually an empty speech bubble in this chapter I think we should update it right away so that people can actually read 100% of the scanlation.

But wait with reuploading until I've had a chance to look at the corrections and optimize the corrected pages. I will probably do that on Friday, since school right now is quite demanding.

Alright, that works cause I'm gonna be busy until the weekend. I'll try to get the corrections to ch458 done on Friday though, as well as checking that missing speech bubble (because it might be a hidden layer on my .psd files).

I checked my .psd file on this and the text is in the bubble. I don't know why jb2448's site has it missing. I need to change the text on it anyway, so the re-upload of it should be visible. Hopefully.

I've gone through the entire revised TL script and changed the words accordingly. I can have them zipped and put on Google drive whenever you're ready for it, Manga Reader X. (although my .psd files still have the page-bleeding from before, most notably on the page where Pryce runs into Giovanni in the flashback)

Also, whilst working on the changes, I notised in zoura's TL notes on the flashback on pg029 has a translation on Lance's convo with Oak, but in the .psd file, the kanji has been left as is, with no blank bubble to put the words in. Should I leave it as is, or should one of the cleaners take care of that?

It's okay; since Manga Reader X is going to be very busy this weekend, I'll try to get the updated script transferred over to the updated cleaned pages. Before zipping and uploading to Google drive, I would like to know if the flashback speech bubbles on pg29 need to be cleaned as well, or just leave the kanji as is (directing this towards Manga Reader X when he sees this post).

"I'll make you hear a lot, so be alive and wait!!"

Hello, everyone!

I was reading Chapter 457 and, at page 14, Pryce mentions the Reverse World. Since that is the animé`s interpretation of the Distortion World, I checked the raws but couldn`t find Distortion or Reverse World in hiragana nor in kanji. Does he really say "Reverse" in the original text? Sorry if this has been brought up before.

We have been informed that the translations used in our chapter 457 and 458 scanlations are not very accurate, so we will do v2s for those chapters. We have gotten a translation for chapter 457 from a skilled translator that is being typesetted and will be translation checked.

I'll check the translation script for what the Distortion World is called when I get to my computer.
