Volume 43 and 44 (edited)

QC:

Page 7 - 'CH. 464' is positioned a little too far to the left compared to the other chapters. '159' should be moved down to it's row. There should be the same size of the space between the chapter rows and the page number rows, in other words, keep the BW box as consistent as the HGSS box in terms of space between the rows.
Page 9, 4th panel - The font size used in the second speech bubble is maybe a little big.
Page 10, 3rd panel - Move down the 'ap-' in 'appeared' to the second row of the right speech bubble. Move down that same text a little to the center of the speech bubble.
Page 11, 2st panel - Move 'Giovanni!!' a tiny bit to the right, to the center of the speech bubble.
Page 12, 3rd panel - Move down the text in the first speech bubble to the center of the speech bubble.
Page 13, 2nd panel - Can you make 'villains.' fit on the third row of the left speech bubble?
Page 15, 3rd panel - Move the text in the right speech bubble to the left. Try changing the positioning of the words like this:

Page 21, 2nd panel - Move the text in the speech bubble a little to the right, to the center of the speech bubble.
Page 21, 5th panel - Move the question mark in the speech bubble up to the second row.
Page 22, 1st panel - Move down the text in both speech bubbles a little, to the center of the speech bubble.
Page 23, 1st panel - Move down the text in the right speech bubble a little, to the center of the speech bubble.

Page 7 - The 'VS' in 'CH. 464' should be moved a little to the right, so that it's straight under the other VS's. Move down the HGSS page numbers a tiny bit, so that they are on the same level as the HGSS chapters. Have all the spaces between rows (both chapter rows and page rows) be of the same size.
Page 12, 3rd panel - Move down the text in the first speech bubble to the center of the speech bubble.
Page 15, 3rd panel - Try changing the positioning of the words like this (it's the 'control without' part that is different this time):
Page 17, 2nd panel - Move the text in the right speech bubble a little more to the left, to the center of the speech bubble.
Page 22, 1st panel - In the right speech bubble, move down the 'al' in 'alternate' to the eight row and move down the 'di' in 'dimension' to the ninth row.
Page 23, 1st panel - Move the text in the right speech bubble a little to the left and a little up, to the center of the speech bubble.

some should have sent some improved, more cleaned versions of some scans (that has some bleeding areas fixed), so update the corresponding PSDs as well with the cleaner scans.

I used the cleaner scans in the last update.  I'll start working on the improvements now.

Page 7 - Move down the HGSS and BW page numbers a little bit, so that they are on the same level as the corresponding chapters.

There are still some scans that have newer, more clean updates. I'll ask some if he has sent the newest batch.

Page 7 - Move up '8' three pixels, move up '26' two pixels, move up '62' one pixel, move up '96' eight pixels, move up '107' two pixels, move up '133' five pixels and move up '159' four pixels.
Move 'CH. 461' and CH. 462 a pixel to the right.
Move 'VS Tepig' and 'VS Sewaddle' four pixels to the right and move 'VS Woobat' one pixel to the right.
I'm guessing that you have typesetted the chapter list as multiple separate columns, right? If you typesetted it as one column you can ignore the notes about the 'VS [Insert Unova Pokémon name]' parts.

Page 7 - Move all the 'VS [Insert Unova Pokémon]' chapters in the BW box a little to the left, so that they are straigtly positioned under ther HGSS counterparts. Move '96' a tiny bit to the right and '159' a tiny bit to the left.
Page 12, 5th panel - Move the first 'WHY...!' (from the right) a little to the left, so that the dots and the speech bubble's contours won't overlap.


I talked to some and he says that he has sent the latest batch of bleeding cleaned scans to you and I can see that some of the pages in your previous release candidate has not been updated. Can you update the PSDs with the newest batch of re-cleaned scans, or are you having trouble finding it?

Fixed, but I don't know where to find the newest batch of scans.  I have pages 6, 13 and 15.  Is there more? I'm pretty sure that I'm using the QC corrections rar file. Pages 7 and 12 have been reuploaded to my Google drive.

Page 7 - Move '96' up a little bit, so that it's on the same level as 'CH. 461 VS Tepig'. Move '41' a tiny bit to the right. Move 'VS Arceus VII' a tiny bit to the right. Move 'CH. 461' and 'CH. 462' a tiny bit to the left. Move the four 'VS [Insert Unova Pokémon]' a tiny bit to the left. Make the space between 'CH. 462 VS Sewaddle 107' and 'CH. 463 VS Woobat 133' a tiny bit bigger. Make the space between 'CH. 459 VS VS Arceus VIII 41' and 'CH. 460 VS Arceus IX 62' a tiny bit bigger.

Isn't the first RAR file the same as the original cleaned scans?  There's no letters and the file name, size and date modified are all exactly the same.  Last date modified is 7/17/13.  I'm using pages 6, 13 and 15 and I'm pretty sure I'm using the pages in the QC Corrections RAR.

If there are more files, I haven't received them.  They're not in the Vol. 43 folder.

You're right the only files that matter are the seperated pages (6,13,15) and the QC corrections file. So you should have received all existing files. However I've only checked on page 11 as a sample and saw that the cleaned scan from the typsetted file (which I downloaded here https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B3qiMNKFfl1hZmxwUTg3YlhEVEk&usp=sharing) isn't the same as the latest cleaned scan from the QC corrections file. Just look at Gold's sleeve on the first panel. I DON'T know if this applies to every page, but it MAYBE does to the other pages as well.

I'm sorry about this whole mess, but I really don't know how I could avoid this (since I'm sure I will always have to reclean some things...)

I'll re add the QC Corrections file to the others.  Maybe I forgot to overwrite the file or something.

Edit: I'm currently uploading a new zip using the QC Corrections pages. The typesetting is an older version, but I did a mini QC on it.

An older version? How old? Shouldn't I maybe update them with your latest updated typesetting?? (That's not much work)

I've already overwritten the files. It's not much work to redo the QCs. Besides, I've already fixed some small errors on the files. It's mostly moving text into the right places. Don't worry about it!

I have the newest version of the typesetting in PSDs. I can send it to you some, if you want. That way, there's no risk that anything is missed and lost when it comes to typesetting QCs.

I still have the 'old' files I downloaded today. I think it would be more work to redo the QC issues and might lead to new QCs... It's a work of maybe 10 minutes, so I'll update them anyway, it's up to you whether to use them or not.
